We kick proceedings off in no particular order with Bitstream AKA brothers Steve and Dave Conner, from Northamptonshire UK. This, their second ever release, came out on signal records in 2000. I’ve picked “Blue Capsule” from the five tracks on offer, for its crushing electro scratch session that comes in around the 4 minute mark. This really needs to be heard on a huge system where the bass dynamics resonate through your gut and the hats and scratches tickle your barnet!
