Logan has been dj’ing, making music and running clubs (legal and illegal) for nearly 20 years. His break came with a residency at “The Betty Ford Clinic” at the Gardening Club in London’s Covent Garden (1992-1993). This was London’s best mid week night out and rode the crest of the emerging UK progressive house movement spearheaded by Leftfield and Guerilla Records. Regular wednesday night guests included Paul Daly (Leftfield), Andrew Weatherall (2 Lone Swordsmen), Darren Emerson (Underworld), Richard Fearless (Death In Vegas) Billy Nasty and Danny Rampling.

He then moved onto his own club night “Bumpy Capers” at the now infamous Plastic People (1994-1997). The small club with the huge soundsystem drew an impressive list of homegrown dj’s as well as international talent like D’Julz from Paris. Bumpy Capers released 12″s on West London label Diversity and was crowned 2nd best club of the year in DJ mag, sitting awkwardly between super-clubs Ministry Of Sound and Back To Basics.

Logan spent the next couple of years dj’ing around UK and Europe. He also released tunes on Sven Vath’s Eye-Q Records surrounded by labelmates such as Hardfloor, 16B, Joy Zipper, Freddy Fresh, Mogwai and Sven himself.

The new millenium saw Logan ease off on the music as he forged a career in advertising and design, but he still managed to put on gigs and dj around his neighbourhood of Shoreditch , East London. He put on illegal warehouse parties at Dovebridge studios with labels like Peacefrog and gave Luciano his first ever UK date alongside Marco Passarini from Nature/Pigna Records in Rome.

In 2002 Logan became resident at “Gary’s Bar” an illegal cocktail bar in London’s Shoreditch. This notorious bar was housed in a penthouse loft apartment and with no restrictions laid claim to much unruly behaviour. As word spread it became the haunt of London’s bohemian art scene and attracted a few West London Hollywood celebrities looking for privacy and an authentic night out.

Since 2006 Logan has moved to Bucharest in Romania, where he is Creative Director of Mustard. He has been Music Director for a feature film and created a soundscape for a theatre production at the National Theatre. He’s still dj’ing and collecting vinyl, and probably always will.
